Anton 13
Hi everyone I bought my Terrano2 about a year ago and had great fun doing it up fitting an electric fan,air scoops to the bonnet, putting Slick 50 to engine and box,new exhaust, and new brake lines and generally sorting everything out and the greatest thing about this 30 year old truck no computer bells or whistles it keeps up with modern traffic and returns over 30 to the gallon happy days.

Hi Anton nice to hear from you, so guess your truck is around 93/94, a pic or two would be nice, I might even have some spares for it kicking around, if you need any help this is the place to be, Rick

Welcome aboard Anton, sounds like your truck will be same engine setup as my 1995 Maverick. Mine came from a former member of this club that sadly passed away. He waxoyled it from day 2 of being registered and kept it in a heated garage. I think the earlier trucks had better anti rust treatment so have out lasted a lot of trucks. Mind you with the old mechanical injection pump we lose out on a little power which I’m told the fuel pump can be turned up but not been interested plus it’s former owner would probably haunt me what do reckon Rick.
The later intercooled have a bit more power. |

Yes Jim you can certainly tweak the old pumps but do not think Rustic would approve, Rick
