Default Two Stroke Oil

When I got the Maverick it had a bottle of two stroke oil in the back and I知 sure I remember Rustic once saying he added some into the fuel.
Does anyone know why and what sort of quantities.

Whilst I知 at it does anyone know if the Mav with the mechanical pump will be ok running on a veggie diesel mix?

Thanks

Due to the reduction in sulphur in fuel it is a good idea to add 2 stroke oil to improve the lubricating qualities, probably 250 ml per tankful as for veggie no problem at all, sunflower oil is 」109 in Lydl right now, Rick

I always add 50ml of 2T Semi Synth per 10 litres of fuel put in to the tank of my old Land Cruiser.
