Caranex H4 Car Tent
Walking around the car boot local to me earlier and saw an elderly couple who had a little board they had made lying against their stall with some photographs attached to it of what looked like a really weird tent at first until I read all of the text with it.
It was in fact a Caranex H4 Car Tent, this one had the extras too so it can be left erected without the need of the vehicle being there. I tried to put it up earlier but failed miserably due to not being able to move the truck at the moment, it really needed to be pinned down to do any good with it. I'm really excited to use this for the first time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rlh...ature=youtu.be 1min 45 seconds in, same one as mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SH7Sg-o_Io

They've been advertising in the camping and caravanning magazine for years pal. Quite a popular tent apparently. That's a good find.

When I got it home and unbagged it I was thrilled to find the Terrano was listed and that this was the right one According to the literature the freestanding bits are extra which are also present. The paperwork also has the original invoice and shows a total of £265 back in 1994. It's certainly in fantastic condition, just hope the height of my truck isn't an issue, there is a next size up with bigger vehicle flaps Did I mention I have got my 3" body lift kit too?

I had one on the back of the Paj Zac. Your height should be fine.
If you have a spare wheel on your back door you may want to offset bias towards the wheel side. So you can open your door. Great little tents. Ooh, keep the elasticated under-skirt away from you exhaust to! D |
