Plinking Good Fun!
Because it was such a lovely evening, I dusted off one of my rifles and headed to the farm.

Nowt that exotic.
I have tried some High Velocity ones... They were too noisy for taking rabbits in the night. So I tried Subsonic ones... But because of my short barrel, those didn't cycle the semi auto action properly. Those standard ones work well, so I'll stick with em! |

These ones remain Subsonic.
They have a tested velocity from the factory of 1070 f/ps (Speed of sound 1125 f/ps) but that will be thru a 16-18 inch barrel. Because mine is only 12 inches, it won't build up that much velocity. |

I'm a little jealous, I'd like a CZ 455 but when I went to some rifle clubs and did some more reasearch it turned out I don't have the time needed to join a club and get an fac. If I could get one I'd probably shoot it 2 or 3 times a month at a club, the time the clubs and police require I spend in order to get an fac is much greater than the amount of free time I have, I think it's ridiculous

I feel your pain... I had to join a club so I could get my 6.5mm rifle.
They only shoot Mid Week, so I wont be going to any of those events! Police wouldn't accept the fact that I have permission to shoot on enough cleared land! |
