I was beginning to think TS wasn't interested in the case.

It was kinda mutually agreed that the thread was dispensed with as it didn't really reflect the nature of the forum.

I would have thought that we could probably gather enough collective information for the man.

YG52XRW was the vehicle in question. First registered 26th September 2002. It had an advertised mileage of 51,900 miles, but sometime between December 2005 and November 2006 the mileage went from 45,400 to 8,280 miles.

I wouldn't be too worried about the loss of the thread, better not in the public domain.

Type in reg no. And make, and you will see the mileage history, and where the vehicle was "clocked"
