Default 12'S' electrics

Now I suspect someone may have asked this before , but I will ask just in case no one has.

What is the easiest route for the 12 volt feed to take from the battery to the split charge relay on a LWB Terrano?

The wife's Terrano already has the 12'S' wired in and it was decided that it was about time mine had it done.

My main concern is passing the cable through the front bulkhead from the engine bay into the passenger compartment. Is there a ready made hole that could be used, it's a Y plate sport by the way.

Thanks

There is a huge grommet in the bulk head on the passenger side you can pass it through. I taped my wire to a length of thin kite spar, and then coated it with silicon spray, and pushed it through from the engine side.

If you take off the pasenger side plastic door sill covers, and lift the edge of the carpet, you will see a nice bit of plastic trunking you can pass the cable along. The trunking is open on the bottom, so by undoing the self tappers you can easily get the wire in.

Then you just need to remove the n/s boot trim panel to pass it behind that in the wing.

Simples...
