Default If you wish to support Marie Curie Cancer Care

If you wish to support Marie Curie Cancer Care, there is a swimathon 17-19th April.
See
http://www.swimathon.org/?utm_source...gn=new_sponsor

Now if you want to support a swimmer, then you might want to sponsor my daughter Hannah. All the money raised will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Details of the sponsorship for my daughter, can be done here.

http://my.swimathon.org/sponsor/Hannahs

Many thanks.
Best regards,
Richard

Thank you very much, she also works very hard to support people who have been made homeless, but Marie Curie is a national charity that she likes to support.

There's a lady swims at the same time as my wife in our local pool and she is doing the 5k on her own. She is on the far side of 70 and swims about 200 lengths a day

Wow that is some commitment.
I must admit, that in the past, when I was fitter, I could only do 30 lengths... it just got boring after that.
With my shoulder, I'm not sure what I will be able to do in a few months.
I'll just have to build it up, and take it easy.

I started swimming on a morning before work about 18 months ago and after 20 lengths I could not lift the towel above my shoulders to get dried.
I'm now upto a mile or so before work and 100 or so a couple of times on a weekend.
It doesn't take long to build back up if you're swimming properly and getting your heart rate up a notch.
Keep it up

We are just watching Paxman interviewing Cameron, and he was thankful to the work that Marie Curie Cancer Care was doing alongside the NHS.

Thanks.
