Oh the thread title has been changed I understand peoples concerns over this type of stove but luckily we have never had any problems with this one in the 8 years we've had it & heat problems haven't been an issue but we use small'ish pans on it as there is just the 2 of use when we go camping The back of the box has 8x 30mm holes drilled in it for good air flow & the sides of the stove are also vented as I used my router to thin the wood down so air can flow nicely but it was built mainly for making a cuppa whilst out & with the small kettle it doesn't take long at all for the water to boil
Jim i've had problems with gas not lasting long but found it was the gas cans from the likes of Asda & B&M's so we went back to getting them from the local camping & caravan place & it only costed an extra pound for 4 but they seem to last 30% longer
Clive set your ferrets to work making you one as it's about time they built something instead of the demolition they have been doing
Zippy i'll put a pic up for you with it in the motor
