Default Planks Books

Some of you may not have known Chris (Plank) but I had the pleasure of meeting him on a few occasions.

He passed away last year and I promised myself that I would read the books that he wrote.

I've just started this one on my Kindle and 3 chapters in and it's quite a good read

RIP fella!!!!

I reckon ThomasTheTerrano can answer this question. Did his last book ever get published?

I've read both his books and a darned good read they were too - I seem to recall the last book wasn't finished when Chris passed away, but ThomasTheTerrano was hoping to complete it as a tribute to him, be good if that happens.

Not having known him as I am new to this club I have missed the connection. The book you link to is by Frankie Fulwood, is this Chris (plank) under a pen name?

I sincerely hope he does get the last one finished, they were indeed a good read and I would love to buy the third.

I never had the good luck to meet Chris but I did get some good help from him on here. A sad, sad loss.

Iain, yes that was indeed his pen name.

It makes me regret never actually meeting him but felt like I knew him very well indeed with the amount of texts and communications via the internet. He will be missed for years to come.

Hi All,

There are 2 on Amazon as ebooks,

Running in Corridors and Thinking About Breathing,

I have both in this form and RIC as a paperback.

Sometime ago Chris sent me the manuscripts to the first 4 books.

At the time of his death we were editing book 3 Don't Look Down,
we were about 8 chapters in.

His editor has the books as well. Their progression is of course
dependent on the wishes of his widow and his family, I'm sure
we'd all like to see this and support it as a tribute to our friend
and hopefully an income too.

Honoured to be associated with Chris, a dear friend I miss every
day, though I'm not finishing any book.

The fifth incomplete work was to have a transport theme and I
certainly enjoyed supplying advise and stories/scenarios to
include.

Pleas do look up the existing books, they are only a few pence, ok
maybe a pound or so on Amazon, and if enjoy consider getting the
paperback too.....Its all for Chris' family.

As stated the books are in his pen name and leading character
Frankie Fullwood, a very loveable rogue and lady's man.
