No good for Alex, you need proper bumpers to be able to apply this mix.

Basically the black plastics go that horrible white colour, you've got to have seen it, then what people do is think "I'll spray some back to black on it" which makes it shiny white

The heatgun method works well as I documented here;

Only lasts a few days though as in essence all it's doing is bringing the oils that are already in the plastic to the surface which then fade away again in a few days

The smooth peanut butter method also works well as the natural peanut oil soaks into the bumpers but again this only works for slightly longer than the heatgun method.

When I applied the Linseed Oil, I was told to mix a cupful of White Spirits so it wasn't as viscous and would be easier to apply and as you can see from the pics it's worked a treat
