my daughters has died and needs a replacement fast due to school runs and 5 kids, and work.it must be on road and cheep,any ideas anyone.we are looking at usual places.

Terrano being the obvious

However a ford Galaxy or a Vauxhall Zafira

If wanting a 4x4 and Isuzu trooper or Vauxhall Monterey

and again stating the obvious the green oval (L@@d Rover) sorry for the bad language.

Both the zafira and galaxy are ok but they are either gutless or expensive to run

Failing that wasn't someone selling a terrano on here? All the little niggles should be gone?

Swaps.co.uk but you get what you pay for. Are occasionally good deals though

If you can't find a LWB maverano try a w124 Merc estate or volvo v70 - both still available around £1k....with the seven seat conversions and proper seat belts etc.

auto box has gone bang and split or something like that.
