Default Another new boy on the block, or Club!

Anyway, my name is Tomas and I live near a place called Mamble in between Bewdley and Tenbury Wells in the Malvern Hills district.
I've just spent all my pocket money on a 98 "S" Maverick 5 door 2.5td.
Like an idiot I didn't take anyone who knew anything about 4x4's with me to check it out. I just fancied it after losing my old D21 pick up and thought it was a good buy.
I could do with someone "In the know" to give it a test ride and tell me whether it's all ok, just in case there is nything amiss with it, so if you live round here, give us a mail.
Would help enormously if you had a 5 door with side roof rails as I just bought some off ebay to fit on my Maverick, so I could also do with measuring up where they need to go!
I'd appreciate it very much.

Cheers all. Tomas243

Hi Tomas, welcome aboard. I'm pretty sure you'll find stacks of help and advice on here. I'm sure someone will come forward and help you out. Is yours the Terrano Maverick shape or is it the slightly smaller Ford Maverick?
In the mean time if you have any questions ask away.

Default welcome

Hi Tomas,
Welcome to the club, bit to far away as well to give your motor the once over, but there are plenty of threads on here for common faults, and what to look out for. just have a search about. Just as a matter of interest (and if anyone else can comment) are you sure your Mav is a 2.5 TD and not a 2.7?? wasnt aware that they made a 2.5,- but then again i may be wrong.
Regards Wayne

Hi Tomas & welcome to the club 8) There seem a bit of confusion over your maverick : with it being S reg am I right in thinking it has twin headlights & a bonnet scoop :?: if it is you have a maverick/terrano MK2 with a 2.7 TD with intercooler
