My first Nissan
Hi all, I have just bought my first Nissan Mistral and I love it! I was wondering if any one could give me some top tips and how to get the best out of my new best friend. It's a 1997 2.7 Auto TD 3 door, perfect condition and runs like a dream, oh once I had mastered the lock, A/T and power switch.... thought it was stuck on 2nd gear lol. I've just joined the club as well so hopefully will be able to keep up with news and tech info if need be. Live in the country so this little life saver is great for me. No more getting stuck in the snow and my boss is happy that I can now actually get to work when others can't, don't know if this is a good thing or bad but hey it's fun getting here anyway.. Thanks

Hi and Welcome aboard.
The Misty is just a Terrano import from somewhere like Japan but no problems with that. Check out the Downloads in Quick Links, theres alsorts in there including the instructions for your little switch. Remember not to use 4WD on a hard surface. |

Hi and thank you for the info, really enjoying driving my "Misty" at the moment, quite like the name actually..... You say not to use 4 wheel drive on hard surfaces?

Hi Yes it's on the bottom of the number plate, lucky I guess to have found you all here. Just ordered some new spots for her, pretty tidy truck actually I'll have to post some photos...

Yep only use 4x4 on slippy surfaces or you'll get transmission wind up and that can smart
