malicious e-mail
Some people may receive a malicious e-mail (phishing request) forged to appear as a gift notice from iTunes.com containing a link to a site with harmful malware that can infect your workstation. Do not click on the link. The message includes “iTunes, Christmas gift card for [Your Name]” or “Christmas gift card” in the subject line. If it's too good to be true, it's malware folks. The "Birthday" app on FB is a prime example. We now know it's malware, but FB does not feel obligated to boot the application off it's network.
