New scottish terrano'er here....
Hi lads just I'd drop in and say hello before i start to ask for help with m new toy :-)
Fancied one for a wee while now but bought my 'R plate terrano 2 swb 2.7tdi' on sat, the previous owner has did a couple things to get me started, first one being a mahoosive set of bfg's and also (I think) a body lift as she's sitting about 1.5 inch higher than the front bumper if yous get what I'm saying? The engine bay is spotless with various new components like battery, fuel filter etc I provisionally bought it for launching my boat on looses sand and steep slips but I can already see my tinkering with it a little . I have some pics but don't no yet how to post them so either someone can tell me how or maybe someone could put them up on this post? I have a few 'help' questions but I'll post these in the correct sections so as not to fall foul of the law here! Davie |

Also if launching boat into the sea regularly, you can expect to have the rear end fall off in about 6 months time Welcome along |

If you put a snorkel on the tail pipe and one on the air box the T2 will go deeper then the boat will ever need to launch. make sure you get plentey of wax oil or underseal on her though or as Stinker says the back end will fall off in a few months Salt is a right bitch and rots them faster than my grans teeth on 100 bon bons a day.
Welcome to the site though. |

I'm in Glasgow, funnily enough I was down in Dumfries today with a job. I had a wee mess about with the terrano tonight and there's a couple of things bothering me but I'll post in the relevant section and hepefully get it sorted. :-) |
