we are currently trying to build our public profile, so that future bids for funding will have a better chance of success. This is seen as a good way to start the process of networking with other groups across the country and of course increase awareness of whats going on in our area. We aim to have sections on local land marks, beauty spots, history, business etc. It is also 'empowerment' in that in encourages committee members to engage with the 'electronic age' and take photos and contribute.

We have already started a community garden on a 1 acre site we leased from a local company -for free! an are currently working on the first edition of our newsletter along with lots of other little projects that will be added when we get going!

we are hoping that every 'like' will bring out page to the attention of a growing number of people and organisations
