I got myself a Canon EOS300D second hand off ebay a couple of months back and it's spot on. OK it's 6.odd mega pixels and not the newest spec but it's prgood. I can take a photo of an aircraft and freeze the prop.

I've got a Canon 350D for sale - again not the latest and greatest but I ave had it since new and it has served me well. Have a wide-angle zoom and battery grip for it as well. Selling because I have just bought a 5D Mk2

If youre a keen photographer (and as you say have some dosh to spare) have a look at the canon eos550d.

Highly recommended though go for body only and stick a decent lens on.

I've got a Nikon D70s with lens hood and a couple of compact flash cards in excellent order. Yours for £180 if you want it.
