Default Headlight Protectors needed "02 on

Hi all,

Anybody out there got a pair of headlight protectors to fit a 2005 model, have just got a replacement headlight from a 2002 model from Lacroupade which is same headlights but really need a set of protectors so I dont have to replace another headlight.

Am willing to pay as new price!

Been checking online and nobody seems to sell them anymore for any model after 2000.

Anybody able to help?

thanks for that you two, have sent her a pm to see if she can advise.
have checked out the website before and they advertise mk4 "02" on protectors but when you go to buy them it brings up the mk3 up to "02 protectors, am hoping she will advise they will still fit my model, here's hoping anyway.

forgive ignorance as new to me mk4 owner, how do clusters
differ from mk3 and aren't headlights already inside a
protector.

certainly had protectors for my mk2 where i gathered each
round lens was pricey.

Good news, got some.

In answer to your question, I dont know myself to be honest, all I know is my lights are square and have the round bulge in bottom corner of the headlight and that earlier mk1 and 2's are totally different but dont know when these type of headlights came in, if was mk3's or on the mk4's.
Headlight from a 2002 car fitted straight in as was same lights on that year.

New price from dealers is £167 each inc VAT, pricey or what.

Last time I bought a terrano was a 2003 model and that had same lights and in forum at time, lots of people were saying lights were easy to break and were fitting protectors so I did as well, but when I sold it I left the protectors on it.

Never mind though as went to dealers today and bought new ones as they are still selling them and had them in stock,, only £35.
Dealers said lots of people were having probs fitting them and had brought them back for refunds as did not fit, mine went straight on with no probs.

I notice though that same as last ones they still rest on the top of the bulge so dont know how much protection they actually give, ho hum. That might be why people said did not fit?

35 quid sounds more like it, about what i paid from dealer for my mk2.

they were a bit fiddly, would feel like not fitting then with an almost
breaking crack sound clipped into place.

best go see my local agent, as if these new type are fragile then dont
want to damage laning.
