I'm SICK of bloody snow.
Drove down to the Pyrenees last Sunday night and ended up spending the night snowed into a service area near Orleans because the autoroute closed with nearly a foot of snow in places.....froze my cobs off til the snowplough came to the rescue!! still at least I had me little stove for a brew! Then drove back up today through just over 500 bloody miles of it!!! Even chucking it down as far as Calais.....luckily though it was pi55ing down with rain in Kent, otherwise things would have been really nasty.....looks like theres been lots there! |

had quite a thaw last night mind we need one with upto 2 foot to clear
was raining yesterday afternoon, icicles gone, bit of a sickner seeing how many neighbours finally dug out their cars from it and their drives. but still a frost overnight so caution folks. some of the piles of snow ploughed up in car parks are impressive bet they will take some thawing to go altogether.

wHOS GOT SNOW
Went out Saturday afternoon just for a ride about .
came across emergency services with a terrano lwb it had left the road and hit a steel armco barrier .otherwise a long drop onto railway line below. ripped n/s wing clean off. there were two young lasses with it looked to be in shock . it was on a duel carriageway totally cleared of snow. so perhaps BLACK ICE. |
