Default Plans for the T2 - modifications

I think all I need is a few stickers and I'm sure no one would know the difference...

We have just bought an 'old' (2002) 5 door for mesing about and pulling a pony box, 140bhp and shift in and out of 2wd and 4wd up to 60mph brill! we also have an old N reg T2 diesel so best of both, the T2 is the proper tractor! good for pulling the big horse box etc. and not so much of a worry if it gets a bit knocked about in the process. I agre we have ad much newer and nicer GV's and i am a bit worried about damage when off road but by the look of some of the u tube clips perhaps my worries are unfounded :

I'm amazed the guy in the Nav even attempted it, it clearly was never going o make it without ripping off the exhaust!

I used to have an Suzi SJ413 when they first came out (20 years ago?), off road that thing was unstoppable, at off road sessions it regularly left land rovers behind. As said above all down to weight and wheelbase.

watch this clip its in french but it shows the Citroen 2cv and its preperations for the 2007 dakar, the car they are racng is overr 50 years old!

I love them and they are a little humbling to watch with twin 375cc engines and an unmatchable off road ability.

it starts with a bit of some other vehicle so bear with it.
