all is forgiven, postage paid and spare returned, I feel bad now for raising the issue, think I will ask the mod to erase this thread, what is the consensus of opinion? I will be guided by you, Rick

Hi Rick
I think this post is important as it is a reminder of the boundaries and respect we should hold for each other. At a guess it is a bit of a guilty conscious that resolved the matter. sometimes name and shame is hard but a nudge in the ribs reaps just deserves. also if the recipient is a victim of circumstance all could have been avoided with a quick chat. there is no need to feel bad paulp |

H Rick, I think that the post should stay.
All the way through you have remained factual but refrained from saying who the person was, this way you and he/she can still hold your heads up high. I know many on this site who probably would have named this person, so you have kept the posts to the point without getting personal. This only goes to show what standards we expect on this site, and how we handle disputes to an outcome that doesn't cause embarrasment to anyone. It is clear from other posters that we all try to maintain these high standards. So we should keep the post, it demonstrates how serious we take these issues. As always, you have my deepest respect. Best regards, Richard (Rustic)

Leave it on, it serves as a reminder that we don't/shouldn't mess our fellow club members around, especially when it comes to buying and selling items.

personally, think that now it's sorted we might as well delete the thread and move on, no point brooding on what's gone!
