I have the exact same problem with mine. Mine also is the automatic gearbox. When I put it into gear it sometimes stalls the engine and I get code 18. I switch off the engine and back on and it clears it. Ive been putting up with it for almost a year but really want to get it sorted.

im happy to plug you into my laptop to check and clear your codes.
iv also resealed our injector pump while still on the car so iv become dare i say it bit of an expert on the ip. happy to help out where abouts are you?

well blow me down im in orpington next door. for what its worth i think your control sleeve position sensor housing needs a little adjustement you cant turn the tick over up but slight adjustments to the housing have the same effect. you may also have a leaking pump usually the seals go hard n brittle look up my post on resealing the pump it shows you where to look

Small world will look it up now I just ordered an ecutalk of eBay not that I would know how to use it, trying to get the eml sorted as I have my final assessment in a couple of weeks with south east 4x4 response

takes 5 mins to plug in and read ur codes n reset eml
