Then I got the wheel alignment done (however they found a fair bit of play in the front bushes so couldnt get it 100% accurate.......... ill add fixing them to the list lol)

Heres the before and after.....................

It actually looks like its slightly nose high now, but ill be looking into raising the rear another inch anyway so ill re-adjust the front again to suit. I did measure 34" from floor to the middle of the arch, all round..... not sure if the arches are the same size front and rear though lol.

Well anyway, I also visited my mate where he works/lives and its such a cool place for photos I couldnt resist again........... you can see why ............. (Sorry about iPhone quality)

Views over Plymouth.........

Thats it for now
hi mate nice pic but is it me is the drivers rear side light brighter than the passanger light or is it the angle of the photo

UPDATE:

Well I got some more work done on the truck this week!
I was getting fed up with rubbish heaters in all this cold weather so I decided to do something about it after getting some advice from a thread on here

Got started by buying some kit..........

Gave the coolent system a good flush out, replaced 82deg thermostat with 88deg one and added new coolent to help get the heaters working nicely :-).......

Stripped out glovebox area to access pollen filter.......

Remove filter........... I think it needed it lol......

Umm spot the difference lol.........

Replace with new filter........

There was a whistle of air coming from the filter access door........ so I sorted it by wedging in some polystyrene :-).......

After all this the engine temp runs a just below half (it was about a quarter) and now the heaters run lovely and hot!

While I was waiting for the coolent flush to circulate I took off the grill and did a temperory fix, gluing the mesh bit back on........

Also while I was working in the passenger foot well I noticed the carpet was very wet......... No idea where the leak is tho... any ideas????

And some more pics just for fun lol.............

Either a Nissan Qashqai is tiny or my truck is huge lol.......

Sunrise In Paington......

Thats it for now........... more soon!

leak in the passenger footwell, pipe could be blocked that lead water away from the plastic under the wiper arms (outside). Or your arches are rusting near the footwell.

Cheers!

I cant see any rust on the arches so may be the pipe! Where does it run lower down??

rust will be right at the corner where the footwell is. Not sure about the other possible leaking spot. Just was told to check mine.

Could be leaking sunroof or that side under the plastic sheld for wiper motor there is a metal plate screwed in that sometimes leaks or could be leaking heater matrix. hope that all makes some sense.

UPDATE

Well as the weather was a little better this week I decided to tidy the truck up a bit and give it a bit of a new look! I painted my wheels

First I gave the wheels a bit of a rub over with fine wire wool to remove any corrosion, flakey paint, brake dust and to give it a rough surface............

I then degreased the surface, primed where required and painted with satin black paint...........

I was only a quick blowover and I wasnt going to spend ages on it but they came out good and look much better IMO. I didnt even bother masking up the tires as when they are clean you can hardly notice the paint on it haha!!

My Truck missing something.............

I also gave the brakes and hubs a quick clean up wth a wire brush and a quick coat of paint, just because the rusty bits were more obvious behind black wheels.............

I even cleaned off the orange stickers as it looked good with the black. Ill leave the covers off on the front...........

Painted rear drums as well.........

First complete wheel...........

Continued the theme lol............

All done and dusted .................

Then I got bored yesterday so I went out and gave it a wash and took some photos around Torbay...................

Helloooo down there..........

After its bath..........

More soon lol

The wheels look good, I'll be interested to know how long the paint lasts as I want to paint all my chrome black.
