Halfords Pro is good and the lifetime warranty is no problem at all if you keep the receipt.
The 3/8" Torx sockets I bought outperformed the MAC tools equivalent of our apprentice ie he broke his on a car then I got the brake carrier off with my Halfords Pro socket! |

Halfords Pro if you or a mate has a Trade Card
On the other hand I have a Kamasa 1/2 inch ratchet wth a badly formed exterior to the ratchet head bought (cheap) back when I was a kid - 35 years ago . It has been used and abused and still works . Some tools become part of the family. |

if your buying used snap on stuff you need to get the original reciepts or the guarentee is void. i use snap on at work cos thats whats provided and is used every day, but at home and for guvvys i use halfords. its a bit more expensive than cheapo stuff but great quality . id only buy snapon with my own money to use every day or it wouldnt be financialy viable

Halfords.... only if you keep the recipt... bullshit.
the recipt is on the handle. guaranteed for life. wot person keeps a recipt for 40 years? the guarantee is for the product not the purchaser. |
