That landy has some smoke so it's poked . Also much bigger tyres that will help with gearing . As said the towing angle wont help the T2 either.
All that said, it's never meant to be fair

Terranos are just better, 90" wheelbase is too short, even LR boys build 100" specials!! 110" is too long!! Swb terrano bout 96" & Lwb terrano 105", perfecto

Japanese build quality, door seals don't leak in, and you can be comfortable too!!
Got a lot of respect for LR's especially defenders, but they they ain't the best 4x4 by far, they need to shift the way they 4x4
