Hi. There are 2 or 3 people on here breaking terrano/mavericks of that year ish. I'm sure they'll be a long to answer your questions very soon.

I have a wiper motor :thumb2
I should have a speedo bulb as well
Ignition Barrel will be a tricky one, they are attached to the column with funny snap off bolts that once on cannot be removed easily (security I presume)
with this you will also need keys, door locks, immobiliser as well as the transponder in the key will be paired to it
See here for a full list of what I have for sale

See, I thought it couldn't be that simple lol.
Cheers for the link

Why do you need a barrel? Is yours very worn?
The central locking doesn't work from the drivers side
oh...you just need the door lock, is that what you mean?
simple...!
you ll end up with a key for the lock, and a separate key (existing key) for the ignition.:thumbs
See, I said I know nothing :o

I could be wrong but if the central locking isn't working it could be the lock solenoid that's stopped working? :nenau
That's what happended with my Shogun.
living in east sussex , you are very lucky indeed :D , you are in solarman 216 (
rick ) country ...... otherwise known as the genious :thumb2
Sounds like a useful man - that's good!

On the 1995 Maverick, no standard immobiliser, and no responder either.
It is quite simple... less to go wrong.
Note, the central locking on the 1995 maverick has no solenoid in the driver's door, this door is locked with the key, and there is a switch, part of the lock, that then activates the solenoids on all the other doors.
When I fitted my after market alarm, it also included remote central locking, so I had to fit a solenoid to the driver's door. Wow... that was nearly 20 years ago...:doh
Hope it helps,
Rustic

You're probably spot on Rustic, here's me thinking its a round headlight facelift :doh
96 was the changeover year wasn't it?
So basically, Rustic, it's not as complicated as it first sounded?

The shear bolts are dead easy to get out only need a hammer & centre punch & use the punch to tap the shear bolts around only takes about 1/2 a turn before they are loose:thumbs or you can use a hacksaw to cut a slot in the bolts & undo them with a screwdriver but hammer & punch is easier & faster
