Just had one of the roof tiles come flying off the back of the house & slide down the front & drop a foot from the front wing:eek: put the truck out on the outer drive just hope it don't get hit by flying wheelie bins now:doh will have a better look in the morning for damage but couldn't see anything with my tourch

Well the good news is the roof tile did miss the truck & no wheelie bins hit it so know damage:jump but can't put my truck back on the drive yet as i've got a feeling even more tiles are going to come off yet & god knows how many months it'll take the council to fix the roof:doh

Well this morning I did a look at our roof following the high winds, and horror...:eek: the ridge tile on the south side of the roof has become dislodged...

Since we have an excess on our house insurance, :eek: I have secured a quote of £70 to have it replaced hopefully on Saturday morning.
I didn't think that was that bad really.:thumb2

I hope the wind doesn't get up, as it runs the risk of slipping off the roof.
If it goes it should go over the back of the house:confused:

I do most DIY jobs... but not roofs...:nenau
