As clivvy says..........not all of them have a mini filter ....DON'T KNOW WHY.Mine does and I have had to clean it in the past due to rough running and finding it half blocked with crud.

When you say there is no nut in the place ,where are you actually looking as there is a banjo union with a bolt thru it on the inlet to the injector pump........the mini filter is usually located in the bolt itself like mine and can't be taken out(Just cleaned in situ and blown out with compressed air)OR I have heard people hooking it out from inside the pump housing on their pumps AND people have taken it out completely and not bothered putting it back in which I find strange

its not as shown in the download but there is a pipe that runs to the pump which has a bolt in the top and it is like a banjo union would that be it ? the nut seems to have a very thin head on it (not much to grip onto with a spanner

Did mine without removing anything but I have stuff missing from mine, and the pump isn't the right one either. I used a long socket extension with a universal joint on the end, and a magnetic pick up tool to lift the bolt out once it was undone. You'll should really replace the copper crush washers so get some ready in case you lose them.
