Default My trailer build

I ended up with a caravan chassis I didn't really want so I thought what the heck I'll build a trailer, I had loads of wood in the garage and plenty of other materials kicking about.

It came with the racking for free, I paid £50 for the chassis.

The flooring/bottom was absolutely rock solid so I just cut the sides back with a circular saw so they were a little behind the wheels.

I'm a trailer snob now, only interested in twin axle and above

Top work Doug, you did that quick, I stretch my projects out having so much stuff on the go at once I could never just start a project like that and finish the same day

Mines finished now, I haven't updated the thread for a while, just need to fit numberplate surround, numberplate light, reflectors and set of new wheels when I can afford

Thats how I got it, bought it for a mate cos he wanted the axle to make his a twin but it was too wide for him.

I did it in bits over a few days, total hours was probably bout 8.

I went to my usual place to get lights for it and added it up rough then I saw that light board for £20, 4ft6inch with a 6 metre cable, no brainer
