great so glad it worked, I remember how shocked I was when I set my first one of in a car and how hot the bag was after I opened the door and felt it, I shudder to think of that on my face, and the chocking smoke I was outside the car and could not put my head inside, but if it is that against my face or the steering wheel? I prefer neither, Rick

a Mk 1 T2 but there is not a lot of difference tween all of them have done primeras, hondas rovers you name it, it just gives you a little idea of the forces involved if you hit something at speed, what you see is designed to help you survive, I banger race and have hit the "wall" head on at 30 mph the wall dont move, but with a full race harness 5 point mount I still bashed my nose on something (through the helmet) it could only have been the steering wheel but normally in the car I cannot get within 18 inches of it, I have long legs so the seat is always right back, the harness is pulled that tight that it is a job to move at all so there you go, when on the road I am always reading at least 3 cars ahead of me, most times I know what the guy 2 or 3 cars ahead is going to do before he does, that is reading the road, much better than relying on stuff like air bags, Rick
