ZD30 Fuel Filter Priming Help

Hi, Does anyone know the fuel priming process for when changing the fuel filter?

fill the new filter with clean fuel, install full filter, pump the fuel priming pump (black plastic knob on filter housing) until it is hard, start the truck and see how it goes--there may be a bit more air, but it will work its way out on its on if it is not sucking in any new air.

These need to be on tight or they will suck in air. Also check it after a couple of days, primer pump should still be hard. David.

Thanks Folks, followed your advise and its all done, guess It saves wearing out the priming pump by pre-filling the filter and saved a couple of hunder £ in the process.
