How on earth do you remove the indicator bulb LHS ive taken the front grill off and removed the bolts on the slam panel but the headlight unit fails to move
Im just scared stiff to force the edge nearest the wing anymore
I've got a polo and the rear cluster is a nightmare to remove they expandy holding clip things is the front of a patrol the same?????
The manual says main dealer only ffs its only a bulb

It is possible to remove the indicator without touching the headlamp .
If it is the same as mine there is a small obvious screw at the top . Undo this and you should then see a long screw which looks like it is some sort of adjuster . This actually releases a catch further down out of site , so undo this .....this should leave you with a small amount of movement around the indicator .
The final holding point is a ball and socket connection at the bottom of the unit near the grille . This is impossible to see but you need to hold the indicator firmly and give it a sharp pull to disengage the ball and socket.
I spent around half an hour scratching my head before asking my usual mechanic for advice and he had it changed in 5 min!
I kept the old unit so I'll take a pic of the back of it when I get chance . A picture is worth 1000 words .
Just had my laptop spring cleaned and it's not talking to the camera.
