Y60 Diesel Pumps

Does anyone know if the pump from a 2.8 6cyl is the same as that on a 4.2 6cyl, hopefully the pumps are the same with different injectors.

One of the seals has given way and causing a pissing of fuel

Where can i get a repair kit :nenau

Has anyone rebuilt an injection pump, can't be that hard.:augie

easy enough to strip and rebuild a pump, (if you have done a few) but what you cannot do is set all the settings that you will disturb without a test rig, so it is a no go I am afraid, unless it is a seal that can be replaced externally, Rick

If you are able to remove the seal and preserve the numbers then Kent Bearings Hastings should be able to get one for you, I have never had one they cannot get yet, Rick
