like this?

if you look in url you'll see the sk refs, at a max of 10 digits, 5 along and 5 up.

using the same set creates the x at the same point.

tbh i thought last time i used these links the ref was shown in bottom of window.
failing that it can calculated from the grid. generally it is possible to simlify the 5
digit code for a 2 or 3 with following 0's.

just playing noticed if you right click on apoint it will create a linkor url to use elsewhere.

stiil thought it created anref as you scrolled around, mind i have software bit like MM that can
do that if not.

Much easier to just right click the map where you want the X to be, then hit link to here and copy the highlighted link out of the pop up dialogue box - goodness you'd be there all night doing it long had Jim.

nice one trs, looks like you posted whilst i was editing my post,

jim, who the hecks jim? jt?

nice mapping that, there as can zoom in from uk road atlas thru os
to a2z!

hi elton .
just had a look around tht map lots of lanes around there ,have you driven them.
why has that one got a tro.
rgds.iandouglas

south derbyshire lanes

took dabda, nellie and a couple of chaps from humberside 4x4 response on a route on new years eve.have driven most of them over the past couple of years.alot of them have been quite graded but there is still some good ones around there.
the lane with the tro on is should be lifted by march 2009.the council have slapped an order on the landowner to remove trees which he has planted in the lane and restore it back to its original width.drove it in june/july 2008 and it seemed o.k then.

any one know how i could post a mm file on here:nenau

You'll have to get BAT to allow the various memory map extension types as attachements. Either that or host it elsewhere and link to it.

Tip for MM users - if you "Save As" *.rxf instead of Memory map format all versions of memory map can read it. Whereas different versions of MM can't "talk" to each other directly.

as a quick and dirty alternative you can use the "Ctrl" & "Print Screen" keys on your keyboard - that copies a screenshot to clipboard - then paste it into Paint, edit if you need to and save as a jpeg, then post as a normal picture...

these links dont seem to want to work anymore,

anyone got a replacement link.

the host url if wound back to first part then go
into links gives the uk maps but then doesnt
save into favs as point you are viewing :(
