My motor developed a problem immediately after having the clutch changed at Nissan about two months ago.
It was struggling to accelerate in third and especially forth gears.
After discussing this over the phone with the manager at Nissan we deducted that it probably would be a faulty neutral positioning switch.
So I ordered the switch (bout £22) and booked the Trol in for the job to be done.
This morning the job was done within an hour (bout £75) and WoW !!!!!!
What a fantastic difference and a vast improvment to acceleration and motorway driving. 8O  -groovy-
Well chuffed.

Well done Dadba,i wonder if this could be a common fault???
Or even if effects the T2's and mavs??? :?

I wonder mate ?
If in doubt I would first call the parts department at Nissan and find out first wether or not your vehicle has one of these switches because apparently not all models do.
If it has got one its a posibility it could well be the cause of the problem. :?
Just hope this helps.
