just a quick query if members here are just interested in day lanes or weekend camping/tintenting in the warmer weather

If there's some offroading yes please :D
If it's a jolly round the lanes then probably not thanks :thumbs

just to see if it is worth investing time into looking at weekend events like play days and lanes more of things like drumclog more than a quarry site :thumb2

I would be up for a drive down south for a bit of camping and doing some lanes nothing to hardcore as breaking the truck that far from home would be a nightmare!

not too sure their is a lot down south to warrant a weekend away

tends to be south wales and northern England and southern Scotland

i know their isnt a lot in Cornwall and Devon and only a days lanning or so east side

thats the problem if we take the caravan, hence gentle stuff only :thumb2

drive there ....... park your truck up ..... go in someones elses truck around the lanes ..... then when they break theirs , you just smile and go home in your nice shiny clean truck ..... simples :augie

Sounds better already :D
I like a bit of rough, but I do need to at least get it on an RAC truck home again :lol

come on lads/lasses their is more than 6 of you out their

I would like to try my car offroad. BUT it is my only car so would be reluctant to try anything too major. What about an offroad centre, where those who feel they would like to risk their car can, and those who feel more precious about their motor could hire? Do such places have beginners' runs maybe? Don't know, new to all this.

i not thinking along the lines of play sites as such more like normal land that is muddy not solid or slate

but yes places like kirton do cater for all as they have sections for shiny motors that just want a bit of dirt not damage :thumb2

the thing is i am trying to find out is would it be worth doing a nissan 4x4 weekend at places that need to be prebooked by club members like drumclog and parkwood as you wont have the play day lot to contend with :thumbs

Well im only just getting into it, but it sounds like fun to me.
And if i break it, i burns it!

we can have a nice camp fire cook some burgers and get a Taxi home the next day.

(Admitedly, im going to cry like a baby once im home :augie)

if it wasn't for our young baby i'd be up for it would need to buy a big ass tent first though lol
