erm.........quick change subject........hows shiela m8?

sheila is a bit stiff ( no comments please ) ..... she made it down here after a 5 hour car journey with a couple of stops on the way , but she is in some discomfort at the mo ....... thanks for asking :thumb2 ..... sheila is a very strong willed lady , ask anyone whos met her , she doesnt really complain and just gets on with life , but shes in quite a bit of discomfort ....... taken pain killers and sleeping currently

well maybe the break from home will do her good, she'll be right in no time, on another not my truck passed its mot with NO ADVISORIES maybe we should start a club m8 `THE NO ADVISORIES` club :lol

glad to see you on line, mate, Rick

thanks mate :thumb2 , i have no idea how long this bluddie computer will keep me online though , but it seems more stable on this dongle than at home ?????? .... strange innit ?

for the technical .... the signal here on my dongle is alternating between 3g and hsdpa :thumb2

thats why I have a dongle that has an external aerial connection and the aerial is in the roof, 5 bar signal but still does not guarantee a good connection, I have had 4 or 5 lockouts tonight, Rick

as i mentioned in my phone call to you rick , im extremely nissed off that the insurance doesnt cover all the burst pipes etc here :banghead , isnt that what you pay the bluddie stuff for ? :nenau ..... another thing i dont understand is how can a pipe /joint / control valve burst when there is no water in the system ? ....... i personally drained the caravan at the end of the season fgs

draining a van is a bit like draining a boat, the pipes go up and down and water will lay in the low spots also unless air can get in water cannot get out, so you need to blow through the pipes to force the water out, I do this with my propane gas bottle on the boat so same on a van but if you have access to compressed air so much the better, the only other way is a wet vac to suck the water out of the system but all taps must be open and the main disconnected to allow air in to the whole system, Rick

hope Sheila pick up soon mate, and glad you are away for a few days, try to relax.

the issues with your dongle are quite simply Norfolk mate. I have the same problems. Dont forget what is located in Norfolk, Radar bases, that wont help. When on my Dongle down there, it doesnt think im in the UK.

And you'll have an exam on 4th June too.

Jim

PS I doubt a VHF signal will make it down there easily.

PPS The digital Repeater is D-Star and I don't have that kind of money:doh

im quite impressed , its only taken me 6 hours to get onto the forum today
