Still struggling with trying to trace the source of a permanent battery drain of about 2amps. Orange wire (previous post) was indeed wiring for white trailer socket no longer fitted.
I was suspicious of the radio and have now removed this item from the vehicle - but there is still noise coming out of the front left speaker! - not much but I am sure there is noise there. The radio is a Ford model 2007 and I have seen reviews which suggest that this model is used with a separate power amplifier module. Does anybody know if this is the case in the Mav, and, if so, where is the power amp. unit located?
If anybody has a wiring diagram for a 94 Mav 2.7TD that they can share I will be your friend forever! Trying to work from the later model diagrams is not working - there are just too many changes.
Cheers

Hi,

Not sure if they are the same, but I have a 1996 Mav on which I changed the Radio - the amplifier was under the Drivers seat in my case.

Just a suggestion - hope it helps!

Thanks for the tip. There is a box under the seat which I had assumed was the ECU - I will check tomorrow.
