Wipers will not turn off

Please help, I have a 2002 TERRANO 3.0 SVE,
When I start it up the wipers front and rear come on and will not turn off :evil:
Some times after a few miles they will turn themselves off,
Has anyone had experience of this fault ?
Does anyone have a download of the workshop manual for this model ?
I believe that the wipers are controled by a BCM , but do not know where it is.
If anyone can help then Please do :?:

John, please don't think I'm being simple here and it may not be applicable to your vehicle but have you tried disconnecting the connectors to the motors ?

I had a problem on my front wipers where they would suddenly start on their own (rear unnaffected). After a dismantle to reconnect a loose mechanism (faff in its own right) which involved disconnecting and reconnecting the motor the problem has never ever returned

I have pulled the fuse on the rear wiper (so at least only the fronts stay on), and checked the connections to the front motor and the switch, they seemed ok.

Ah well good luck.

I put mine down to dirty connections being disturbed, probably was.
