Hi guys,

Over the weekend my windscreen washer pumps decided to die, well not altogether, but the output is worse than feeble.

I have got power to the pumps but no...ooomph....if you know what I mean....

I have blown them through (and in reverse just in case) and the lines are clear.....

The washers on the lights have never worked and on inspection, were disconnected and the pump outlet bridged.......the nearside washer has I think got a slight blockage, as blowing and sucking doesn't seem to make a lot of difference, and on the basis I've never had them I'm not worried about sorting it......

But......the front and rear screens......the pump has a Renault/Fico Transpar ID, and seems to fit Scenics etc, fleabay about >£8.00...

Do you think this part is correct.....never had to do these things before......:doh

Many thanks in advance for any advice.....:thumb2

Are you aware the headlamp washer pump will only operate when headlamps are on and you wash the screen. Disconnected mine as one of the jets was leaking but suspect it was a problem before I bought it.
No idea about whether a renault part would fit or not. On the older trucks the same pump actually squirted both front and rear, suspect it spins one way for front and other way for rear by switch polarity.
To get it through mot I did place an accessory shop pump inline on my old truck but it was never very successful. Was far better using correct pump.

Can you find one from a breakers yard?
