Not a major mod by any stretch of the imagination, but I was so pleased with the results of this I thought I'd let you all know..........

For under £30, J&J Automotive supply a set of four wind deflectors, complete with instructions & clips. 15 minutes or so to fit & the results are great!

Properly-designed to fit the window contours, too

Highly-recommended

Got a set on mine....lovely not having the rain dripping in whilst going along with the window open a little bit.

I believe on the imports they are classed as monsoon guards

yes they are great, means I can leave the windows open a bit when raining for the dogs and not get a wet seat, Rick

Totaly agree, and on a hot day you can leave the window open slightly, when parked as they are tinted and doesnt even notice, unless your alarm goes off... i dont have an alarm just imboliser

I got them as I was fed up having the washers drip into the car when I had the window open. You'd think every car manufacturer could design a channel at the edge of their windscreens to route water up into the roof gutters, hey?

and these will fit the 5 door Maverick as well? I know they are the same vehicle but still, my OCD means I have to ask!

very smart, i shall be getting some come pay day, my littlest will not go in the car without a window open, whatever the weather! these seem the answer, thanks for showing.

I have one on the Trol as the the other one parted company a few years ago and haven't got round to buying some more.:doh

When I tried the compatibility list it said no to my 1995 Mav, but yes to the Terrano II of the same year.

I think in the set up, they only allowed Nissan.

I cannot see why they would not fit the Maverick, there are subtle differences between the two cars, grill, bumper, radio, badging, interior trim, but not the doors.:nenau

They do look nice though, I prefer the slimmer profile to those you see on the Troopers and such like.

Cheaper than recharging your air con too.:augie

I wish my Mav had air con...

My Mav did have air con... it was empty and the aircon rad is lying behind the garage at the moment. never used it anyway, so jettison extra weight, increase MPG NOT Lol

Fitted as standard on my 2004 3L LWB. They make up for the air con being U/S LOL. Nearside one obstrucks the view through the door mirror though, so I suppose it's the type described as 'monsoon gaurd'.

If anyone has a spare rear (same both sides) I would be interested in obtaining it, as it was missing when I bought it.......honest Govener.

That's the one gripe I have with them. You soon learn to deal with it though, and it more than makes up for it by preventing rain/washer fluid, etc blowing straight into the car, I reckon :thumb2
