I'm in the process of having a hidden winch tray fitted.
Getting the tray laser cut and folded at work in the morning so if all goes well will have it fitted over the weekend.

Will do mate
Was hoping it would be done today so I had some time over the weekend to get it fitted.
Will have to see how it goes.

Solinoid box now moved, just waiting on a grill and another gearbox then it's sorted fingers crossed

Nice one dude, get rid of that number plate, I reckon that's obstructive for the air flow, get a bonnet one like Steve and Elty :thumb2

Where did you fit it in the end?
I still haven't decided where to put mine.
The only feasible place I think is the passenger side inner wing.
Also got an isolator switch to fit but will need to extend the cables.

I had one of these maybe lasted about a month, First use of a winch at a pay and play nowt. Had to bypass it.

Looks exactly like the one I had, Just be prepared to bypass it when it fails. As said mine lasted about 1 month under the bonnet.

In the 90 defender I used one like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TIR-Heavy...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item540e45e2fe

But it was installed in the cab as the batteries are under the passenger seat.

Fez beat me to it, the cheap ones are poo Either they'll burn out under load or they'll rot away from some mud. You need a high ampage marine one .
I put mine where the Ford badge was :D
