winch bumper

I noticed on a You tube post someone was saying that there is someone who makes a bolt on winch bumper for a Terrano 2 made from a template made by a guy on the forum called' makeitfit'. Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Sounds good, I was thinking of making my own but I don't really have the time at the moment and I'm sick of tripping over the lump of a winch on the garage floor so I need somewhere to put it.

That would be good for you but not so much for me, except no more tripping over I guess.
I know I could put it on the bench! No that will only take up bench space, a bumper is the way forward....:doh

You need to ring handy Andy of "Landie Spares" he's very good but very busy and you'll need to stay on his case if you want a quick turn round :lol

There are two types he does, mine , the original is a smaller profile than his default one. So have a word with him about which style you want and I recommend getting the bash guard too

I have spoke to the guy today about bumpers and yes he said he is very busy at the moment, one half of me says I should get him to make me one and the other half of me says I should build my own when I have more time. :hmh

Thing is he's so cheap he's always busy I'd hassle him into making one for you and IF you get near making one yourself before him, just let him know. He'll still be busy :lol

Sent him an email today of the AFN winch bumper to see what he has to say.
I also sent the company in Portugal an email to see how much they wanted for there bumper 601 euros inc vat (£495) plus postage, just out of curiosity. I think these bumpers are made in China due to looking around on the net.
