So me, the missus and her young niece decided to go ufo hunting this evening :augie

Of all places we decided stokenchurch was the way to go, hi Firebobby :thumb2

We stumbled across two teens that we suspect were having a good old smoke up, as we drive up to em on this pitch black road they fired up and drove of pronto :lol

Eventually we found an entrance to an open field so we decided to purch the terrano there, looking over loads of open sky.

We mainly sat there and chatted away for ages, knowing I had to use 4wd to free ourselves later as the rear wheels began to spin when we parked up :lol

When we came to leave a few hours later I popped the sidelights on only,
We were immediately greeted with an incredibly strong light shining at us from the right hand side of the field, I can only presume this was a Pissed off farmer with a vehicle of some sort :nenau

Needless to say I got my arse in gear and sodded off (no we did not damage any field) :thumb2

Once we had reversed to the exit this light had gotten pretty close to us, as we drove down the main road all you could hear was the clatter of mud flinging all over the place :lol

Sorry mr farmer, we weren't fly tipping :kissy

Why didn't you say you were coming out to the sticks you numpty, could have met up.

There has been quite a lot of fly tipping around here and the farmers and police are constantly on the look out, where about did you stop, can you remember.

How do you manage to get into these scrapes :lol

You sure the other car wasnt selling something and came back to get the competition off his patch so to speak?

Alex, I'm sure you could have got some cash for those bumpers at the scrap yard, without having to resort to dumping them in the nearest field...:lol

Seriously...
The Problem is... if there was any freshly dumped items in the area, and the farmer got part of your number, or just noticed any features that were specific to your vehicle, :doh:doh a quick examination of your tyres can place you at the scene.

Excuse me Sir... "Why were you at this crime scene...?"
"Err... we were spotting UFO's... " "Hmm, please accompany me to the station Sir... oh and bring with you what you were smoking, as there was evidence at the scene." ...:doh

Finger prints, DNA samples, and rubber gloves to follow...
"Maybe I am getting into the realms of fantasy here...":lol:lol:lol

Sometimes it pays to have a vehicle that just blends in, ie no personalised number plate, and no mods. Our silver Picasso is so common, even we have difficulty trying to find it on a car park...:doh
Try a visit to your local supermarket and you will find loads of these lol...

But how would we all manage to keep going without a daily dose of Alex and his antics. Antic Alex? mmmmmm

We have Uncle Rustic, so why not Antic Alex...:thumb2:thumb2

:lol:lol

Does the club have insurance to bail out members arrested for trespass? :augie :lol

You will need to be very careful, I have first hand experience of a police operation taking place down here, where they have grouped 3 lots of anti-social people into one group and are pressing hard to catch them.

There is a huge problem with Hare coursing, fly tipping, plus the usual people in 4x4's driving where they are not supposed to be, and the police are using farmers, neighbourhood watch, and 3rd party groups of voluntary people, to get intelligence on potential offenders, including infra-red temporary cameras in places, to actually get evidence to use in court. When we were helping, we would just drive past, using our car and phone cams to get details, and just passing it over, so the people involved will never know they were recorded.

Ironically one of the main trigger things we were told to look out for and take details of, were dodgy looking beaten up 4x4's.....

I think there is enough self confessed evidence on this site to give him a character witness...:doh:doh
They'll throw away the key...:augie

Then, don't forget they are training to be Bonnie and Clyde too, with all the weapons training.

Loving all the comments :lol:lol:lol :bow:bow:bow

Just to let you know they give you computers in prison now :naughty

A few factors to consider, we hadn't pulled in very far off the Main road, we were there for hours, and also when we drove off as the road is dark yon cant see my rear number plate due to a er faulty light or something :augie (lack of) :augie

What surprised me is that the farmer or similar was in his field at 12:15am!! maybe we did see a ufo :augie
