Joseph and I went out to do a few lanes today and we turned into a lane to see a Suzuki stopped a short way from the start, I thought it was a couple of youngsters making out but as we got closer it started to move, I was surprised as this becomes a very scratchy lane. we got about half way along the lane and the car stopped and a lady got out walked back to us and said "how the hell do I get out of here" I said we are coming to a small crossroads and suggested she turn right as left would remove most of her paint and straight over I would need to tow her as the ruts are rather large. She said her friend had suggested that they do some green laning but she was not trying this in her car again. Lucky she went right and was last seen driving into the distance as I would have looked silly if she had opted for straight over as since I had last used it the council have regraded it and it was flat as flat with not a rut in sight. On a brighter note at least she was doing minimal damage to the lane in her small light car.

Kind regards

Russell.

It is a very small Suzuki not sure which model but certainly small only moved half the branches that my 2M wide Patrol behind it moved.

Could be one of the newer vitara's but a huge % of them are just 2WD:doh

Smart for 2

That bad winter we had three years back I was the only vehicle that managed to get up the MI slip road at Junction 26 / A610 at 11.00pm on a Friday night. I was one of only a handfull of cars going southbound to Junction 25 and on the A52 into Derby. I had the advantage of driving on virgin snow so no polished ice.

I was driving a Smart for 2 !!

Narrow standard wheels,
engine in the rear over driven wheels.
It was better than a Merc ML.
