So Sunday, took the grandparent's for lunch with me and the other half and then got stuck into 'trol tinkering while the sun was out (with a nice cold G&T to hand) :thumbs

Got rid of these plastic, slightly weathered 12N & 12 S sockets, with bolts completely seized into the nuts securing them onto the corroded and soft as s**t bracket (You had to bend it back into place after plugging in the trailer lights it was that knackered!) :doh

A bracket which was also ideally placed to a) make you step on both sockets when you climbed out of the back with just the small rear door open and b) make ever using the 12S socket a little bit tricky due to it being slightly in behind the towball...

... and replaced them with these metal 12N & 12S sockets and completely new bracket :thumb2

Also took the opportunity to move it round to the other side and angle the bracket up slightly to get the sockets more out of the way of anything that might damage them.

Cheers, pleased with how they look myself!:)

Particularly pleased that when I checked the 12N socket it worked as it should - I've wired them before but whoever fitted Foxy's towbar originally used wiring with non-standard colour coding :doh which added a little bit of spice to the proceedings when it came to wiring up the new sockets!
