Being on nightshift (read - bored), I thought I'd have a go at getting a definitive answer off t'interweb to a couple of questions before resorting to wimping out and actually asking you guys. How wrong was I :nenau !
Dunno if I'm looking in the wrong places, or not using the correct terms in the search boxes, but I'm having to ask the age old question - which grade of oil is recommended for my 3.0 tdi and has anybody fitted a K&N induction kit to said same engine and if so, which one?
With regard to oil, I've read various ranging from 5W 30 to 15W 40 and everything in between! Still none the wiser
. And no, I don't have the owners manual.
What I have found however, is that several members have fitted induction kits to their 2.7TD's and not knowing what the differences are between the air intakes on the 2.7's and 3.0's, I don't know if the same one will fit.
Help!
