I've just noticed a rust spot, about size of 50p piece, appearing at the rear end of my sills. I've flushed out the front end of the sills after removing the mudguards but I gather there should be some drain holes in the sills. Where are they and what do they look like? The only things I can find are piddly little slots about a quarter of a millimetre which look nowhere near adequate. Pics attached.

sills drain from inner rear wheel arch

trace round outside of arch to bottom the along inward, right angled
corner is a square hole, where water would flow towards chassis and
under the car.

at front theres a pronounced hump on outside edge behind front flap,
side steps often mask it.
