when i had the back end on axel stands to day to change the center exhaust i started it up to get some heat in the exhaust to set the mastic i noticed the rear wheels were turning whilst the gearbox was in neutral when i dipped the clutch it stops and i can stop the wheels turning by grabing hold of the wheels
have i got a problem?

trip to bq should sort it then:nenau
dont tell the other half as i cant stand decorating

be slight drive from engine turning clutch, normal !

My outboard when in neutral even does it to the prop, but very slowly.

When in neutral, and clutch released, the input shaft is turning, so are most of the gears, so you have oil sticking the gears together, so will be worse when cold I would have thought.

This is why you should press the clutch in when starting.
Also if you have left it in gear....:nenau:nenau
