this morning i noticed one of the wheelstuds on the drivers side front is broken ..... is this dangerous ? and is it easy to fix ? , i still have 5 studs in the wheel though

Wouldn't of thought it was that bad to do and all I can say is nissan designed it to have the full compliment for a reason. Ring round dealers and get one ordered along with the nut, then surely any old garage should be able to pop it on for you.

" good morning , is that ag car spares and accesories ? "

" yes , how can we help you ? "

" have you got a wheel stud and nut for a 1995 nissan mistral ? "

" what size is it sir ? "

" i dunno , i was kinda hoping you might know "

" no sir , you need to measure it then let us know "

" but its broken , thats why i need a replacement "

"measure another one then and call us back "

" havent you any idea what size it is ? "

" no sir , there are many different sizes , you need to take the wheel off and measure one of the other studs "

" i cant do that "

" i suggest you take it to a garage , they will take the wheel off and measure it for you "

" but if i took it to a garage ,they may as well fix it "

" call us back with the size sir , then we may be able to supply one for you "

" goodbye "

cheers mate , but i will see if i can source one locally first , anyway back to my question . obviously i cant do it , but is it a easy ( cheap ) job to do ?

Its a 15 min job.. just tap the old one out with hammer & punch.
Grease the splines on the replacement.
Pass into the hole, then using a stack of washers or similar pull through with a wheel nut.
Put the road wheel back on, tighten, drive & re-check.
